products, excellent customer service and low-priced broadband services.
PlusNet has grown its customer base through recommendation and word of
mouth and has built up a strong user community, which values its
straightforward and honest approach. It now offers broadband, wireless
and voice services to over 200,000 customers across the UK.
Based in Sheffield, PlusNet has a staff
of over 200 people. The company was acquired by BT in January 2007 for
£67 million but acts as an independent subsidiary.
What we think
If you sign up for Plusnet,
you're getting the level of service you would get from one of the
smaller ISP's, but the peace of mind that comes with Plusnet's parent
company BT. Great for anyone wanting an all round sound ISP.
