Hutchinson Whampoa have significant history in the mobile communications industry, having founded mobile communications provider Orange in 1994, which it later sold. Then in 2002 it founded Three in nine countries across the world, serving some 16 million customers.

Three are the latest mobile phone provider to offer mobile broadband which is accessed by a plugging a 'dongle' into your laptop, allowing you to access broadband on the go.
